“I can give you some news,” Sven began. “Isaksson is in goal on Sunday. “It’s not because Joe Hart had been behaving badly – on the pitch or off the pitch – it’s only that I want to give Isaksson the chance to play the last game.” It’s been a tough season for Isaksson who has largely had to watch from the bench, making only five City appearances this campaign, and has been strongly linked with a move away from the Club during the winter transfer window. The boss’ fellow countryman hasn’t started a league game since December’s 4-2 home victory over Bolton Wanderers but Eriksson was quick to praise the big keeper’s professionalism over the season. He added: “I think he’s been absolutely fantastic – a super professional.” Elsewhere amongst his squad for the weekend Sven stated: “Injury-wise, we are the same as we were last week. Bojinov is still out, as are Onuoha and Richards of course. Everyone else is fit and ready."
